Writing With Purpose, Speaking From Experience
As the founder of Not Lost Anymore and a published author, my writing reflects the real-life experiences of someone who has lived through the care system, trauma, disability, and resilience. My books are not just stories — they are tools for connection, healing, and change.
I use my voice to reach those who often feel unheard, and my words to create spaces where people can see themselves reflected and understood.

My Journey Through Life - The Real Me!
…………………………………………….
Published in 2021, this book shares my personal journey through the care system, my battles with adversity, and how I reclaimed my voice. It is honest, raw, and hopeful — and it is helped readers feel seen, supported, and less alone.
The Real Me is the moving autobiography of a young woman who has faced more challenges and difficulties in a few short years than most of us experience in a lifetime. Born with a mild cerebral palsy, to parents so wrapped in their own issues they were unable to provide the support she needed, from the very beginning, she was determined to better her life. Many young people in this situation would have given up, but not Leeanne. With support and encouragement from her carers, she triumphed over physical, psychological and social problems to prove that where there is a will, there is always a way. This book is essential reading for anyone who has grown up in care or who intends to work within the care system. It is an honest, no-holds-barred account of the transformation from a childhood of deprivation.

My Upcoming Project
Currently writing my second book, this one goes deeper into the different types of abuse and the realities that many people are afraid to speak about. Through each chapter, I hope to educate, raise awareness, and start difficult conversations that need to happen.
