Training That Empowers, Not Overwhelms
Often, when people hear the word ‘training,’ they think of unhelpful, non-accessible tools like PowerPoint presentations, tick–box exercises, and long, tedious sessions that do not quite connect with them and why they are there. The training I offer is something different to other trainers. It is real, it is relevant, and it is rooted in lived experience.
What Is My Aim?
My aim? This is to create a safe, inclusive learning environment where people feel supported, valued, heard and empowered to grow.
Who do I Work With?
I deliver training for:
§ People with learning disabilities
§ Care-experienced individuals
§ Survivors of abuse and trauma
§ Those living with lifelong conditions
§ Professionals and organisations supporting these groups
Whether you are attending any of my courses or workshops as an individual or as part of your team, the sessions are always adapted to meet the needs of the people in the room – because one size does not fit all.
Why My Training Is Different From Others?
What I do is personal to me. I have been through the care system. I have challenges that no one should have and that is why it has shaped who I am today. The lived experience I have allows me to connect with others in a deeper way that feels real and honest.
My approach is grounded in empathy, not assumption. I create my training that feels accessible, respectful, and trauma–aware – so no one feels left behind or unheard.
What You Will Learn From Me?
Each training session will focus on building real-world skills and understanding. The topics can include:
§ Recognising and responding to different forms of abuse
§ Trauma-informed approaches
§ Building confidence and emotional resilience
§ Understanding mental health
§ Communication and advocacy skills
§ Life skills for independence and well-being
The participants who will undertake any of my courses or workshops will receive a certificate of completion – a small but meaningful way to celebrate your progress.
A Safe Space To Learn
Too often, people will feel out of place in training environments. Maybe the content moves too fast, feels too clinical or just is not relatable.
That is why I focus on creating a calm welcoming space – whether online or in-person sessions where learning feels encouraging, not intimidating. You will never be forced to speak or share your experience. Everything I do is built on trust, choice and connection.
Let’s Work Together
If you are looking for training that is built with care and understanding and is shaped by real living experience – I would love to hear from you.
Whether you are an individual looking to build your confidence or an organisation wanting to make your service more inclusive, I am here to support you every step of the way.
Let’s create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and ready to grow and learn.
‘Inclusive training opens minds, builds confidence and creates space for every voice to be hered.’
